ABOUT WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the
protection of the environment. The Botswana Climate Change Network (BCCN) is a non-governmental
organization that is working to address the issue of climate change in Botswana.

PURPOSE
The Botswana Climate Change Network (BCCN) is organizing a Plastic Collection Exhibition on Plastic
Solutions and Innovative Recycling to raise awareness about the problem of plastic pollution and to
showcase innovative solutions for recycling plastic waste.
